Incident in Loughborough
Officers are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Loughborough.
The incident took place at around 1.30am on Wednesday January 18 on Ashby Square, Loughborough.
A 26-year-old man who had been walking along Ashby Square sustained a broken jaw and swelling to his face.
PC Andy Dixon, the investigating officer, said: We are trying to establish how this man sustained these injuries, and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 1655 Andy Dixon on 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 1655. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free** and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
