Officer investigating an assault on a woman in Leicester city centre have charged a man in relation to the incident.

A 39-year-old man has been charged with assault and will be appearing before Leicester Magistrates Court on Wednesday February 8.

The charge relates to an assault on Miss Kristina Leatherland (18) in Bishop Street, Leicester on Sunday January 15.
