A city man has been charged with burglary of a newsagents shop in Hinckley Road, Leicester, on Monday, November 7.

The 36-year-old-man is accused of stealing a handbag from the shop. He has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court today, (Friday December 30).
