Burglary in daylight in Asquith Boulevard.

Burglary in daylight in Asquith Boulevard.
Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Asquith Boulevard.
The incident happened between 8.30am and 12.20pm on Tuesday, December 6, when the 63-year-old victim returned home to find access had been gained to her property and a number of items had been taken.
Property taken includes a safe containing a substantial amount of cash, a Panosonic digital video camera, some jewellery and a Garmin sat nav.
Detective Constable Jonathan Davies, who is investigating the incident said: This incident happened in the middle of the day in broad daylight on a busy road. There would have been people out and about who may have seen something, but have not spoken to the police.
I would ask anyone who uses this route to get to work, or during the morning to think back and see of they remember seeing anyone carrying a safe, or acting suspiciously. I would also be keen to hear from anyone who has seen a safe abandoned anywhere.
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC 2068 Jonathan Davies by dialing 101. Follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer, and when prompted key in the officers identification number 2068. Alternatively, you may contact Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
