Officers from Loughborough local policing unit are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was assaulted in the town centre.

The incident took place at about 1.30am on Sunday November 6 outside Echos nightclub in Biggin Street when the victim was approached from the side by a man and punched in the face.

The incident was reported to the police on Tuesday November 15.

PC Andy Dixon is investigating the incident, he said: The victim received extensive injuries to his teeth during the incident which will require further medical treatment.

We would urge anyone who was in the area during the night of November 6 and witnessed the incident or knows who was responsible to contact us.
