Police issue list of all arrests and charges following Leicester disorder
Detectives investigating incidents of disorder in Leicester last week have issued a list of all arrests and charges made since the investigation began.
The list gives details of all arrests and charges and what date those offences occurred on, be that the incidents of disorder on Tuesday evening or as part of the increased patrols that followed.
So far a total of 89 people have been arrested, 55 have been charged, seven have been a given fixed penalty notice, five have been cautioned and 13 have been released.
Arrests and charges in connection with incidents of disorder on Tuesday:
- A 50-year-old man charged with public order offences and will be appearing before Leicester Magistrates Court on August 25, 2011.
- A 16-year-old youth arrested for breach of bail conditions and appeared at Leicester Youth Court on August 10, 2011.
- A 17-year-old man charged with a public order offence and is appearing at Leicester Youth Court on September 19, 2011.
- A 17-year-old man arrested for a public order offence has received a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN).
- A 14-year-old youth charged with burglary, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage and will be appearing at Leicester Youth Court on September 19, 2011.
- Two men, aged 22, charged with handling stolen goods and will be appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 26, 2011
- A 36-year-old man charged on suspicion of burglary
- Three 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old youth arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries
- Four men, two aged 18, a 19-year-old and a 24-year-old, charged with robbery and appeared at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 11, 2011
- A 17-year-old youth arrested and charged with encouraging the commission of an offence (riot). Due to appear at Leicester Youth Court on Wednesday August 31
- A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with encouraging the commission of an offence (riot). Due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Friday September 2
- A 14-year-old youth has been charged with criminal damage and will be appearing at Leicester Youth Court on Wednesday September 21.
- An 18-year-old man has been charged with violent disorder and remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 16.
- A 17-year-old youth has been charged with violent disorder and appeared at Leicester Magistrates Court September 26.
- A 17-year-old youth has been charged with a Section 4 public order offence and will be appearing at Leicester Youth Court on September 19.
- A 21-year-old man has been charged with burglary other than dwelling and was remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 16.
- An 18-year-old man has been charged with violent disorder and has been remanded to appear before Leicester Magistrates Court Saturday August 13.
- An 18-year-old man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and bailed to appear before Leicester Magistrates Court on Thursday September 1.
- A 17-year-old youth has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and bailed to appear before Leicester Youth Court on Monday September 26.
- A 17 year-old youth has been charged with Section 5 public order offence and has been bailed to appear before LeicesterYouth Court on Monday September 26.
Arrests and charges following increased patrols on Wednesday:
- A 15-year-old boy cautioned for possession of an offensive weapon
- A 15-year-old boy charged with possession of an offensive weapon. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on September 19, 2011
- A 22-year-old man charged with possession of a controlled substance. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 26, 2011
- A 23-year-old man cautioned for possession of a controlled substance
- An 18-year-old old man arrested for a public order offence. Received a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN)
- A 21-year-old woman charged with Section 5 public order offence. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 26, 2011
- A 27-year-old man arrested for a public order offence. Received a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN)
- A 48-year-old man charged with possession of drugs
- A 50-year-old man charged with possession of drugs
- A 30-year-old man charged with Section 5 public order offence. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 30, 2011
- A 31-year-old man charged with breaching an exclusion zone and obstructing a PC. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 26, 2011
- A 16-year-old boy received a reprimand for possession of controlled drugs
- A 14-year-old boy charged with a public order offence. Appearing at Leicester Youth Court.
- A 24-year-old man charged with possession of drugs. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court
- A 20-year-old man charged for possession of drugs. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court
- An 18-year-old man charged for criminal damage. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 30, 2011
- Two 16-year-old boys charged with criminal damage. Appearing at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 30, 2011
- An 18-year-old arrested for a public order offence and has received a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN)
Arrests and charges following increased patrols on Thursday:
- Two 18-year-old youths arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance. Released on police bail pending further enquiries
- A 19 year old man charged with a Section 5 public order offence will appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on August 30, 2011
- A 32-year-old man charged with a Section 5 public order offence
- A 17 year old youth has been charged with a public order offence and possession of a controlled drug
- A 17-year-old youth charged with a Section 4 public order offence
- A 14-year-old boy arrested has been charged with burglary
- A 25-year-old man charged for possession of offensive weapon.
- A 30-year-old man cautioned for possession of drugs and criminal property
- A 14-year-old boy charged with criminal damage
- A 31-year-old man charged for failing to disperse
- Two men aged 25 have been charged for failing to disperse
- A 21-year-old man has been charged with a Section 5 public order offence
- A 26-year-old man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon
- A 21-year-old man arrested for public order offences has received a fixed penalty notice
- A 23-year-old man cautioned for being in possession drugs
Arrests and charges following increased patrols on Friday:
- 42-year-old man arrested and charged with public order. He is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Thursday September 1
- A 20-year-old woman arrested and charged with public order and possession of a controlled substance. She is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Thursday September 1
- A 29-year-old man arrested and charged with public order and criminal damage. He is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Thursday September 1
- A 25-year-old man arrested and charged with public order. He is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Thursday September 1
- A 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of public order and issued with a fixed penalty notice.
Arrests and charges following increased patrols on Saturday:
- An 18-year-old man arrested and charged with Section 5 public order offences. He is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Friday September 2
- A 28-year-old woman arrested and charged with attempted criminal damage. She is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Friday September 2
- A 17-year-old youth arrested and charged with criminal damage.Due to appear at Leicester Youth Court on Monday August 15
- A 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of Section 27, failing to disperse
Arrests and charges following increased patrols on Sunday:
- Two men, aged 19 and 21, arrested and charged with possessing drugs
- 18 and 16-year-old, men, arrested on suspicion of public order offences. Both released on police bail pending further enquiries.
- A 21-year-old woman arrested and given a fixed penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly
- A 14-year-old youth charged for being in breach of bail conditions
