Two bikes stolen from Western Park on Bank Holiday Monday

Police are appealing for public help after two bikes were stolen from Western Park, Leicester, on Monday.
The first incident happened at approximately 3.30pm on Monday (May 2), when the 9-yeard-old victim was on the BMX track of the park, in Hinckley Road.
The victim was approached by a group of three youths who told him to get off his bike, when he refused they pushed him, causing him to fall to the ground.
The youths then rode away, one of them on the victims bike.
All three youths have been described as being black and aged between 14 and 18-years-old. One of them was wearing a Mickey Mouse top and jeans, the second was wearing a McKenzie top and tracksuit bottoms and the third was wearing a grey T-shirt and jeans.
A white man was also seen with the group.
The second incident happened later that day at approximately 7.10pm, when the 13-year-old victim was approached by a young man who pushed him in the chest as he was riding his bike.
The victim fell to the ground and dropped his bike. The man picked up the bike and hit the victim in the face before riding off towards Hinckley Road.
The man is described as being white, aged 15 to 20-years-old, of stocky build and about 59 to 510 tall. He had a chubby face, fair hair and was wearing a grey hooded top, jeans and walking boots.
The suspect was seen with three other males.
One of the stolen bikes is a Royal blue BMX, the second bike is white Fit Bike Co with the words Fit Bike Co written on the frame in green. Both bikes are pictured.
Detective Constable Kim Welford, the investigating officer, said: The two incidents happened in the same place, on the same day and in very similar circumstances and that is why we are linking them.
As Monday was a Bank Holiday I am hopeful that there was a number of people visiting the park and hope that they will contact me with any information they have about the incidents.
If you can remember seeing a group of four youths, matching the descriptions, then please get in touch.
I would also like to talk to anyone who has seen either of the bikes pictured since Monday or anyone who knows their current whereabouts.
