Stolen bike

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary whereby a bike was stolen in Enderby.

The burglary happened between at around 5am on Tuesday January 1, 2011 on Stewart Avenue.

The victim was disturbed by their dog barking and when investigated discovered that the shed in the back garden had been broken into. Stolen from the shed was a specialised black Rockerhopper mens mountain bike.

PC Kevin Jones, the officer investigating the incident, said: "The bike is quite distinctive and the victim is eager to get the bike back and so we are appealing for help from the public.

"Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Have you been approached by someone who has tried to sell you a bike matching the above description? If so then please contact us with any information you have."
