Officers are appealing for witnesses following damage to a car in Littlethorpe.

The incident happened between around 6pm on Friday December 24 and 8am on Saturday December 25, 2010 at a car park in The Square.

A corrosive liquid was thrown over a silver Mitsubishi L200 causing damage to the paintwork on the bonnet, wings and door of the car.

PC Darren Measures, who is investigating the incident, said: The damage to the car may cost hundreds of pounds to fix and has understandably left the owner angry.
