Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of damage on a bus in the city.

The incident happened at 5.45pm on Tuesday, November 30. As the bus was travelling along Holderness Road an object was thrown at the windscreen causing it to smash.

This latest incident is the fourth which has occurred at the same location since October.

All of the incidents have been carried out by a group of three or four youths aged between 13 and 16-years-old who were wearing dark clothing.

They have occurred at the Beaumont Leys Lane end of the road and have all resulted in the windscreen of a bus being smashed.

PCSO Clare Bradley, who is investigating the incidents said: This is incredibly dangerous and could result in serious injury.

I would urge people who use the route to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.

So far, no-one has been injured in the incidents. But this offence could have serious consequences.
