26 November 2010Coalville Library Limerick Competition Winners Announced

Coalville Library received over 30 excellent entries which were of a very high standard. Staff had a hilarious time judging the limericks, creating a lot of fun and laughter in the library! The public are invited to view the winning entries and those highly commended on display at Coalville Library until the end of November.

The winners are:

There was a young boy from Derby,

Who was incredibly mardy.

He threw himself on the floor,

And gave out a roar,

Because someone had stolen his 'Barbie'!

Who swallowed a musical pill.

When he burped he played swing,

But the funniest thing,

Was his tonsils just couldn't keep still!
