10 September 2010Health and Wellbeing Event at Loughborough Library

Leicestershire County Councils Loughborough Library is launching its new Health and Wellbeing section with a celebration day packed with free activities on Friday 24th September 2010.

There will be health checks in the morning and a yoga session at lunch time (this needs to be pre-booked). In the afternoon there will be a series of half hour talks by local holistic therapy centre Gaia Holistics. The talks will be about homeopathy, back pain and arthritis and massage.

In addition to these free activities there will be hand and neck massage in the library and lots of stalls from charities, health groups and related organisations providing information and guidance throughout the day.

For the littlest members of the library, there will be a special healthy eating themed wriggly readers at 11am for under 5s and their grown-ups.

People are encouraged to come along to Loughborough Library on Granby Street and take advantage of the many free activities and information on offer. For more details please call 0116 305 2420 .
