Police are appealing for information after a number of vehicles were stolen in Burbage.

The incident happened between 8pm on Sunday May 10, 2009 and 8am on Monday May 11, 2009 when thieves broke into a business premises on Brookfield Road.

Once inside, they stole keys to and a number of vehicles parked outside.

These included a silver BMW 320 registration CA04 YZD, a blue Renault Clio registration HV05 OBJ, a silver Ford Galaxy registration X522 HNT, a blue Ford Cmax registration KM54 NNT, a black Mitsubishi Shogun registration VU04 FXD and a red BMW Mini registration FD52 XJV.

A motorbike and jet ski were also taken during the incident.

The victim was offered a reward for any information which may that lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible and the return of the stolen property.

PC Paul Bingham, who is investigating this incident, said: “We need the public's help and we are hoping that someone will know the whereabouts of these vehicles.

"Did you see someone acting suspiciously in the area between these times? Any information no matter how insignificant it may seem could help with our enquiries.

“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the red Mini in convoy with here other vehicles two of which were a black 4x4 and a silver car at around 9.45pm on Sunday evening. It is believed that they were travelling the wrong way on one way section of Rugby Road in Burbage.

"If anyone knows of the whereabouts of these vehicles or has information regarding this burglary, we would urge them to get in touch with us."
