Burglary in Hungarton

Have you seen this picture?
Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a burglary in Hungerton.
The incident happened between 11pm on Monday May 11 and 7.30am on Tuesday May 12, the victim woke up and went downstairs to find the kitchen door open at a property off of Baggrave Hall Road.
Upon further investigation he found that a search had been made of the lower half of the property and a number of items had been stolen.
Items stolen include a Sony laptop and laptop bag, two Sony televisions, one 22” and one 42”, a Sony Playstation games console, a silver bracelet style Tag watch and two sets of car keys.
Also taken in the burglary were four paintings, three of these are antique. Police have released the pictures of these paintings in the hope that people will recognise them.
PC Claire Murray, the officer investigating the incident, said: “We are hoping that by releasing the images of the paintings taken someone will recognise them and contact us.
“We would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and can remember seeing anything suspicious.
“We would also like to ask people to make themselves aware of the items taken and if they are approached by anybody attempting to sell them or know someone who has recently acquired these items in unknown circumstances, to call us.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 4445 Claire Murray on Leicester (0116) 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a voicemail for an officer then key in his identification number 4445.
