Assault on 15-year-old boy
Police are trying to trace witnesses to an assault on a 15-year-old boy in Eyres Monsell.
The incident happened at around 6.20pm on Monday, March 23 at the junction of Wokingham Avenue and Queens Park Way when a red van pulled up alongside the victim.
The victim ran off down Queens Park way in the direction of the wood, where he was approached by two men, who had been in the van.
The suspects spoke to the victim before assaulting him. He received injuries to his face and head and required hospital treatment.
The first suspect is described as white, aged around 25-years-old and overweight. He was between 5'10" and 6' tall and had no hair. He was wearing a white short sleeved top and jeans.
The second suspect is described as white, around 19-years-old, skinny build and had short light brown hair.
A third man, who watched the incident and left with the suspects, is described as, white, around 19-years-old, skinny and had a hood over his head. He had an Alsatian dog with him.
Sergeant Cathy Haward, who is investigating the incident said: "We are particularly keen to trace a member of the public who witnessed the incident. He was walking a Dalmatian dog and was spoken to by the third man, before leaving the area. This witness is described as white, in his 30s, tall and skinny with balding hair.
"We are also keen to trace a man and a woman who saw what was happening, before the suspects made off in the red van.
"These people could have vital information which will help us with our enquiries. If this was you, or you know who it was then please get in touch."
