Snibston is supporting National Family Week and encouraging families to get out and about during the children’s holiday.
Join us on Monday 25th at 12 noon with your own picnic for the family and help us try and break the world record nationally!
Families can bring their own picnic mats or rugs and meal.To break the record each person should have at least two ‘courses’ (e.g. a sandwich and fruit or cake) and a drink.
Why not invite friends and relatives to Snibston and enjoy a family gathering? Or just enjoy a great day out.
There will also be lots of prizes, discounts and free stuff given away.
National Family Week is also backed by the Prime Minister and by a host of important organisations and charities including Save the Children and the Women’s Institute and by celebrities such as Rebecca Adlington, Sally Gunnell, Anthony Worral Thompson and Tanya Byron.
There will be extensive media coverage during the week on TV, radio, in the national and local press and online.
