Community consultations for residents in Stoneygate and Knighton

Residents in Stoneygate and Knighton are being invited to two community consultation events being held by their local neighbourhood officers.

The first event is being held on Tuesday January 20 between 11am and 1pm at Lockwoods Tea Rooms on Allandale Road in Stoneygate. PC Guy Swatland and PCSO Lucinda Tagg will be available to chat with residents and discuss any concerns in the community.

The second event is being held on Friday January 23 at Knighton Parish Centre, Church Lane in Knighton between 5.15pm and 7pm where PC Swatland and PCSO Tagg will be joined by PCSO Lynette Steadman from the West Knighton and Kirby Estate neighbourhood team.

PC Swatland said: "This is a good opportunity for us to update residents on what we have been focussing our efforts on over the last few months and also for them to tell us about any concerns they may have in the community.

"We will also be able to offer crime prevention advice and will have a range of leaflets that residents can take away with them."

To leave a message for either the Stoneygate and Knighton or Kirby Estate and West Knighton neighbourhood teams call Leicestershire Constabulary on 0116 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message and when prompted key in the voicemail number 9082.
