5 December 2008 Library Festive Fun

Children aged 5-9 years are invited to join in the ‘Festive Fun’ at Earl Shilton library on Tuesday December 16th. The FREE event will be held from 4.00 - 5.00pm and there will be the opportunity to hear Christmas stories and take part in a special craft activity. Places are limited so please call in the library or phone direct on 0116 3058392 to reserve your place.

A number of local libraries are also running a Christmas competition entitled ‘Write the Future’. This is aimed at children aged 12 and under and runs until December 31st.  A prize will be awarded for the best creation of a robot or creature from the future. All entries will be put on display at the library of entry.

The competition runs at the following libraries until 31 December 31. Application forms are available in each:

  • Barwell Library
  • Desford Library
  • Earl Shilton Library
  • Groby Library
  • Market Bosworth Library
  • Ratby Library
