Information on Leicestershire

A 32-year-old man is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court this morning having been charged with burglary and attempted burglary.

Following a burglary in Leicester Forest East yesterday morning (Thursday October 24), warrants were executed under the Theft Act at four addresses in Leicester by officers from Blaby local policing unit.

A number of stolen items were recovered and a man was arrested in connection with the LFE burglary and a further burglary in Glenfield last Sunday (19th October). He has since been charged and remanded into custody and is due to appear at court this morning.
