Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike was stolen in Glen Parva.
The incident happened between 7.50pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday July 22, 2008 when thieves stole the bike from a driveway on Leicester Road.
The bike is a black TMEC trials bike and has the registration number FJ08 RYC.
PC Kev Willett, from Blaby local policing unit said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have seen this bike being stolen, or may have seen it since, to get in touch.
"We would appeal to anyone who may have been offered the opportunity to purchase a bike fitting the description to come forward.
"It is not clear at this stage, considering the bike had both a steering lock and the front and rear wheel were chained together how it taken away from the scene. Perhaps it was loaded into the back of a van or lorry or carried away by someone? We'd therefore also be keen to speak to anyone who thinks they may have information as to how the bike was stolen."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 78 Kev Willett at Blaby LPU on 0116 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number, 0078.
