Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary on High Street, Earl Shilton.
The incident took place between 5pm on Saturday 5th July and 9.15am on Monday 7th July 2008.
Diving equipment worth approximately £4000 was stolen as follows: Two white, Sable make, 15 litre, steel diving tanks, one white Sable make 2 litre steel diving tank, two sets of size 10 fins, one black and the other black and red, one is Scuba pro, two Mares make clear masks with snorkels, two black dry suits in medium and large, two black under suits with white stitching and Artic written across the body, two dive computers, one with Gekko written in white and the other with Viper written in grey on the hoods and gloves.
One blue and black holdall with a steel handle on the top containing various tools worth £550 was stolen to include the following: Various screwdrivers, Hammer coax stripper, various screws, two Bosch SDS hammer drills, cordless (not in cases) blue/green colour, one Bosch cordless drill 12 volt green/blue with 3 batteries and one diving knife and torches.
PC 4429 Gayle Willoughby of Hinckley local policing unit, said: "Thousands of pounds worth of diving equipment was stolen from the premises and I would like to hear from anyone who has any information about this incident.
"Perhaps you were in the area at the time and saw or heard someone acting suspiciously. I would also like to hear from anyone who has been approached by someone selling diving equipment or knows someone who has recently acquired similar items to the ones that were stolen. Genuine sales can easily be verified."
