A man has been charged with possession of a Class A drug following a raid at an address in Anstey.

A warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 at a property in Charnwood Road in Anstey on Tuesday July 15.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and has since been charged with possession of a Class A drug.

He is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Tuesday July 29.
