Information on Leicestershire

 

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a house on Peppercorn Close, Leicester.

 

The incident happened between 11pm on Saturday 28th June and 5.30am on Sunday 29th June, when the victim discovered that her car had been stolen.

 

The blue ford focus, a mobility car, was later found on nearby Tilling Road.

 

On further investigation the victim found that her second car had been stolen along with both sets of car keys.

 

The second car, silver Vauxhall Zafira, has still not been found.

 

PC Spence who is investigating the incident said "we are appealing to anyone who may know anything or who was in the area at the time of the incident.

 

"One of the cars is still missing and it could be that someone has seen this car or has information about it.

 

 "No matter how insignificant the information may seem, it may help us with our enquiries."

 

Five people have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
