Police beat officers from the Earl Shilton and Barwell beat are inviting residents to have their say about policing issues in the area.

Members of the neighbourhood beat team will be in the beat bus on Saturday, June 7 at Top Town, Barwell, between 10am and 1pm. They will then head to Wood Street, Earl Shilton, from 2pm to 5pm.

PC Lindsey O'Nion, beat officer for Earl Shilton said: "This is a great opportunity for people to tell us about any policing concerns or issues that they may have.

"I am looking forward to meeting and chatting with lots of residents. I can then work with them to identify problems in the area and look at ways of resolving them."
