football

Are you dreading the forthcoming FA Cup Final? Will you be made uncomfortable in your own home? Not bothered whether the people in blue beat the people in black and yellow? Fear not, Snibston has planned a perfect escape where you’ll be guaranteed a football free zone.

Pamper Day takes place on Saturday 17th May and is completely free to attend. There will be a range of indulgent stalls in the main foyer selling treats and special gifts including make up, fair trade jewellery, handmade soaps and cards and designer clothes and handbags. There will also be the chance to relax and enjoy mini treatments from local beauty salons.

Visitors can also get free advice on health and fitness with Stealth, Fitness Republic and Weight Watchers, as well as hearing about how the right colour palette can transform your life with a talk from House of Colour.

Snibston will also be providing some delicious and tempting tipples with cream teas, Pimms & lemonade and white wine spritzers. The piece de resistance for those with a sweet tooth will be the fabulous chocolate fountain with a variety of moreish morsels on offer for dipping.

When visitors are all shopped out then the Century Theatre will be hosting a special screening of popular romantic comedy PS I Love You. Tickets for the film are only £2.50 each and there will be a fully licensed bar available throughout the performance. There is no need to book ahead as all tickets will be available on the day.

Access to Snibston’s museum exhibition is subject to normal admission but there will be free entry all day to the award winning Fashion Gallery for all visitors. All of the businesses represented at Pamper Day are local to Leicestershire with most coming from the Coalville and Ashby area.

There will also be a charity raffle for Rainbows and any donations by visitors and businesses will be gratefully received.
