Blaby local policing unit has launched a new online survey to help find out your views on policing in your neighbourhood.

The aim of the survey is to collect the opinions of Blaby residents so the neighbourhood team can help improve their service and impact on issues that concern the community the most.

Inspector Mark Chell, Commander of Blaby local policing unit (LPU), said: "We are committed to keep improving the way we consult with members of the public and this is another way we can gain feedback from local residents.

"Blaby LPU is working in partnership with Blaby District Council to impact on crime and disorder in the area and we want to hear from anyone who has an opinion on issues in the Blaby district. Please take the time to fill out this short survey and it will help us to keep improving policing in your neighbourhood."

The questions in the survey are designed to establish your views on personal safety in the area, how often you see a member of the neighbourhood beat team and how your are kept informed about policing issues.

If you are not a resident of the Blaby area please keep an eye on the website for other surveys that are about your neighbourhood as we would be very grateful of your opinions.

Under the Market Research Society code of practice, we are unable to survey people under the age of 16 using an on-line survey. Nevertheless, the views of young people in our community are very important to us and there are a number of ways in which we seek to ask your opinions. The local media and this web-site will advertise opportunities to participate.
