"After some considerable cajoling I attended my first Lead Generation Club meeting in September 2006. I'd been along to other Breakfast Clubs but had been put off by the formality of the meetings and the requirement to attend 48 out of 52 weeks a year! The Lead Generation Club was a refreshing change. After 'visiting' on 3 occasions I decided to join in October 2006.
Not only is it considerably cheaper to join than other clubs but it is really good fun. I'm not frowned upon for wearing my work uniform - jeans! Everyone is really friendly and despite us dragging ourselves out of bed for a 7am start we always have a good laugh and a joke.
However, I make no bones about the principal reason for joining...to get more business so that I can retire to my country pile that little bit earlier! In my line of business, it's very easy for me to quantify the success of the Lead Generation Club...and it's been a resounding success! I have made advertising sales of nearly £3,000 since I’ve been a member - that's paid for my membership many times over. That figure only takes account of direct sales to fellow members...I've had numerous referrals from members all of which have generated sales. And, as over 90% of my members advertise on a regular basis, the annual increase in sales, as a direct result of my membership, is likely to be quite considerable.
